Four Swiss actors and actresses you ought to know

They’re young and extraordinarily talented. The following four actors and actresses are the future faces of Swiss cinema.

1. Ella Rumpf

This Zurich-born actress attracted attention at the 2014 Zurich Film Festival playing Ali in the film ‘Chrieg’. Ella Rumpf’s next appearance will be in the comedy ‘Gorillas’, which hits cinemas in Switzerland on March 8, 2018. 

2. Zoë Pastelle

Zoë celebrated her acting debut at the Zurich Film Festival in 2015 when she appeared in ‘Amateur Teens’. This 17-year-old will once again appear on Swiss cinema screens from November 9, 2017 in the Swiss film ‘Blue My Mind’, which will also celebrate its Premiere in the German-language Realm on October 2, 2017.

3. Kacey Mottet Klein

Kacey is the acting discovery of director Ursula Meier. Switzerland first became aware of his acting talents when he appeared in ‘Home’ and ‘Sister’. He will next appear in the two upcoming French films ‘Comme des rois’ and ‘L‘échange des princesses’.

4. Annina Walt

Born in Zurich, this 26-year-old was nominated for the Swiss Film Award for Best Actress for her roles in the ZFF films ‘Amateur Teens’ and ‘Nichts Passiert’. Anina’s latest project ‘Die Einzigen’ will air on SRF at the end of 2017.
