The people of Hawaii believe that
We are all born with a Bowl of Light.
In the beginning, it is clean, clear,
and shines with the energy of our being.

As we live and grow older, we start to pick up
bad thoughts and feelings in the form of pebbles.
They drown out the light and love.
They make us heavy, they cover up our light.
Every bad choice we make; things big and small;
feelings like fear, anger, and GUILT.

At any given moment in our lives, however,
we can take those pebbles out of our bowl.
We can dump the bowl's content and start anew.

But it is up to us.
To face the heaviness we collected,
and not project it onto others.
because it is OUR fear, OUR judgment, and OUR GUILT.

dass wir alle mit einer Schale aus Licht geboren werden.
Am Anfang ist sie sauber, klar,
und strahlt mit der Energie unseres Seins.

Jedoch können wir, an jedem beliebigen Moment in unserem Leben,
diese Kiesel aus unserer Schale herausnehmen.
Wir können den Inhalt unserer Schale wegwerfen und von Neuem beginnen.

Aber es liegt an uns.
Uns der Schwere zu stellen, die wir angesammelt haben,
und sie nicht auf jemand anderen zu projizieren.
Denn es ist UNSERE Angst, UNSER Urteil, und UNSERE SCHULD.

Ich bin Lisa Lander, 23 Jahre alt und zur Zeit freischaffende Künstlerin. Mein Traum ist es, ins Creative Writing oder Concept Art der Kreativ-Industrie einzusteigen. Charaktere designen und Geschichten schreiben sind meine Leidenschaften. Ich fotografiere oft, und zwar fast 70% mit meiner Phone-Kamera. Ich habe auch schon Projekte für die Kunstschule mit meinem Smartphone gefilmt. Dieses Projekt konnte ich auch wieder mit meinem Smartphone realisieren (Audio als auch Video). Postproduction in Premiere Pro. Ich wollte einen Feel Good Film drehen, aber das Thema "guilty" war da schon recht hart... :( I am Lisa Lander, 23 years old and I'm currently a freelance artist. It's my dream to get into Creative Writing or Concept Art of the creative industry. Designing characters and writing stories are my passion. I often indulge in photography, about 70% of that I'm doing on my phone camera. I have also filmed projects for art school using only my smartphone. And this project I could, once more, do solely by phone (both audio and video record). Postproduction in Premiere Pro. I wanted to make a Feel Good Film, but the theme "guilty" was pretty tough... :(
